PDM not allowed to distribute carrot and parsley seeds

The Central Election Commission banned the Democratic Party (PDM) from distributing carrot and parsley seeds in packs with the party's symbols to people. The party was also warned for distributing promotional leaflets with the party's emblem that do not contain the printing date, Info-Prim Neo reports. The decisions were announced in the November 16 meeting of the Commission. The PDM's representative to the Commission Andrei Volentir said the carrot and parsley seeds should not be considered electoral presents as the body sprays distributed by the Liberal Democratic Party are not considered as such. The Civic Coalition for Free and Fair Elections demonstrated the PDM's packs with carrot and parsley seeds to reporters last week.
