The persons involved in managing the graduation exams in eight secondary schools of the country committed serious deviations in the process of organizing and conducting the tests, the National Exams Commission ascertained after photos of test papers from the secondary school graduation exams and the answers to them were published online. The images appeared in real time, when the exam was being sat. The responsible persons will be penalized, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Education and Research, all the materials were sent to the General Police Inspectorate.
The National Exams Commission asked the local education divisions in Căușeni, Criuleni, Edineț, Glodeni, Florești to carry out, as a priority, internal inquiries and establish all the circumstances of the found violations.
The eight secondary schools are: Cârnățenii Noi Secondary School in Căușeni district, “Mihai Eminescu” Secondary School n Jevreni, Criuleni district, “Mihail Sadoveanu” Secondary School in Cupcini town, Edineț district, Hâjdieni Secondary School in Glodeni district, and the Secondary Schools in Prajila, Ștefănești, Putinești Gymnasium and ”Mircea Snegur” Secondary School in Trifănești of Florești district.
In accordance with the provisions of the Contravention Code, the publication of the test papers for the secondary school graduation exams and Baccalaureate exams or the answers to them until the start of the respective exam or during its conduct is punished with a fine of 1,500 to 4,000 lei in the case of private individuals, of 7,500 to 12,000 lei in the case of legal persons, and of 7,500 lei to 12,000 lei in the case of the person in charge, with ban on holding particular positions or carrying out particular activities for a period of three months to one year.
The national secondary school graduation exams were taken by about 30,000 students during June 3 and 13. The results will be posted on June 20.
