The pensions will be increased by 9.6% on April 1, Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Sergiu Sainciuc confirmed in Wednesday’s meeting of the Government, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Prime Minister Vlad Filat asked that the decision to this effect be submitted to the executive for approval as soon as possible so that the recipients are able to receive the higher pensions from April 1 already.
