An aircraft of the Romanian airline “Tarom” skidded on the runway when it landed at the Chisinau International Airport on June 4. None of the passengers of the Bucharest - Chisinau ROT 2017 flight was injured. The reasons for the glitches are yet unknown, IPN reports.
According to “Tarom”, the crew made effort to control the plane that partially left the runway. The ATR 42 aircraft landed in Chisinau at 6:12pm. There were 39 passengers onboard. These were unhurt.
In a press release, the Civil Aviation Authority of Moldova says it was informed that the plane owned by “Tarom” slid on the runway. In Moldova, the aeronautic incidents are investigated by the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure and the results will be published when the investigation is completed.
