The leaders of the Civic Platform “Dignity and Truth” called on the people protesting in the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau not to allow to be manipulated by the protests planned by the parties headed by Igor Dodon and Renato Usatyi. These urged the people not to become involved in the ‘perfidious games’ of the two political leaders who intend to mount large-scale protests on September 27.
“Let’s promote the ideas of the Civic Platform “Dignity and Truth” from person to person and from home to home and let’s get ready for a large protest in Chisinau. Let’s believe that this struggle will ultimately lead to the satisfaction of our demands,” said the secretary general of the Great National Assembly Council Chiril Motpan.
He announced that the pensioners on September 25 will picket the Parliament Building. “We hope that the voice and sorrows of the people will be heard as the situation is very serious. We would like the people to come with spoons and plates and to drum these on each other so as to be heard, as in other states,” said Motpan.
For today, protesters’ leaders prepared a surprise-picket. Those who want to join the protesters will find out the picketing place when they come together in the Great National Assembly Square at 2:30pm.
