The MPs took a break on Friday as a result of the disagreements that appeared in the commission on economy, budget and finance over the draft budgetary-fiscal policy. The commission’s head, Liberal-Democrat MP Veaceslav Ionita said that one of the members of the alliance proposed a conceptual modification that was adopted by the Democrat and Liberal lawmakers in concert with the Communist MPs, Info-Prim Neo reports. The MP said the conceptual modification refers to the postponement of the indirect methods of assessing the incomes of private individuals. “We speak about very rich persons who have a say in Parliament. This element is negotiated with the foreign partners. The Government will not accept this modification and, it may happen that Parliament will not vote a bill submitted by the executive,” said Veaceslav Ionita. According to him, when a conceptual modification to a law is voted, a vote of no confidence is given to the bill put forward by the Government. “This means that the bill is sent back to the author,” said Veaceslav Ionita. He also said that if the bill is not accepted in the form submitted by the executive, the Liberal-Democrat MPs will not attend the sitting. “They have enough votes to pass the bill. They have sufficient votes to elect the President and these parties should take to the streets tomorrow together with the PCRM,” stated the lawmaker. Democrat MP Dumitru Diacov and Head of Parliament Marian Lupu said the bill must be put up for debates. The ruling alliance came together for a meeting to take a decision.
