The police arrested a suspect in the case of the house fire in Gura Camencii village, which claimed four lives. The 29-year-old man from the same village is suspected of setting the house on fire, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, when questioned by the police, the suspect admitted that he drank alcohol together with the victims. Afterward, they started to quarrel and he stabbed his drinking companions.
The man faces up to 20 years in jail or life imprisonment for intentional murder.
The firefighters of Floresti district were called to extinguish the house fire in Gura Camencii last night. The fire destroyed two rooms. Four carbonized bodies were found in one of them. They were the owner of the house aged 49, his female partner of 32 and another two men aged 42 and, respectively, 45.
