Twenty-nine persons were fined last weekend because they violated the quarantine regime. They were found in public places without an identification paper and could not explain why they were there. A business entity selling building materials was also fined, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
According to the Ministry, fines of over 630,000 lei were imposed in total.
Three priests from Anenii Noi, Orhei and Chisinau, who on the Resurrection Night violated the measures imposed by the Commission for Exceptional Situation, got contravention reports.
Fines totaling about 25 million lei have been imposed in Moldova since March 17.
The Ministry of Home Affairs calls on the citizens to obey the rules set down by the authorities, not to violate the legislation and to call the 112 service if they are witness to an offense or need assistance.
