After a new round of negotiations to form a ruling alliance held on December 21, the politicians refused to make statements. Only the deputy head of the Liberal Party Valeriu Munteanu talked to the journalists, saying things remain stagnant, IPN reports.
According to the Liberal lawmaker, the discussion was short and focused on the principles of forming the alliance and designating the candidate for Prime Minister, but someone continues to be stubborn. Munteanu didn’t specify who is stubborn.
The leader of the Democratic Party Marian Lupu approached the journalists, but refused to talk to them, saying he will give a news conference later and will provide details there.
At 2pm, the leaders of the parliamentary groups involved in negotiations will hold consultations with President Nicolae Timofti.
