Preliminary results of parliamentary elections

With over 87% of the proceedings sent by the electoral bureaus processed, the preliminary results show that five parties will enter Parliament after the November 30 legislative elections, IPN reports.

The Party of Socialists (PSRM) polled the largest number of votes – 21.62% of the poll. The Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) won 19.24% of the ballot, the Party of Communists (PCRM) -17.87% the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) – 15.76%, while the Liberal Party (PL) – 9.38%.

If the seats of MP are divided now, the PSRM will have 26 representatives in Parliament, the PLDM – 23, the PCRM – 21, the PDM – 19, while the PL -12.

The other parties and the independent candidates didn’t pass the election threshold, with over 85% of the votes counted.
