Premier and his wife last year earned almost 7m lei

Prime Minister Vlad Filat made public his income statement for 2011. He and his wife earned together almost 7 million lei, including 176,000 lei in salaries. The other incomes came from real estate, securities and dividends from companies in which they own shares, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the income statement, the Premier’s family owns a house to the value of about 6 million lei and two cars. Vlad Filat has a shareholding of over 11 million lei in CS Kapital Invest Company SA, which is based in Iasi, Romania. In 2010, Vlad Filat and his wife earned incomes of over 8.5 million lei.
