“There are facts showing that the police are being restructured,” Prime Minister Pavel Filip said in the opening of the August 30 meeting of the Cabinet. He praised patrolling police officers Alexandru Pasat and Vlad Gurin, who, seeing a woman in labor blocked in traffic, accompanied her to a maternity hospital with the siren on so as to arrive faster.
The Premier said such cases of kindness and humanity should be appreciated and recommended Minister of the Interior Alexandru Jizdan to award the two policemen.
