President's Cycling Cup will take place this year as well

Even if it was instituted by the former head of state Vladimir Voronin, the President's Cycling Cup will be held this year too, the organizers of the competition said. “The organizational level will not be worse than last year,” the president of the Cycling Federation of Moldova Andrei Cimili told a news conference on May 12, Info-Prim Neo reports. Andrei Cimili said the sponsorships this year are lower. “We have gathered an insignificant sum so far. Thus, we intend to attract more sponsors so that the competition is organized at the highest level,” he said. The race will take place between June 11 and 13. The costs are estimated at 40,000 lei. Nine teams of cyclists from Moldova and several from abroad are excepted to take part in the tournament.
