Prisoners to toast juice on New Year

The Moldovan jails stage 'cultural-artistic activities' occasioned by the winter holidays, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Penitentiary Institutions Department (DIP). Every prison has Christmas trees adorned with toys made by prisoners. The prisoners will celebrate toasting juice and will consume food made by the administrations and themselves. Under the regulation, the inmates are to be given better food. In order to prevent attempts to introduce banned objects into jails, the parcels the prisoners will receive will be checked up more thoroughly. Due to the cooperation with NGOs concerned, with companies and religious organizations, the inmates have received gifts: clothes, footwear, candies. Imprisoned mothers and minors have received toys and accessories for kids.
