The operation of charter flights from Chisinau during the state of emergency is authorized by the Civil Aviation Authority. Those who want to use such flights can fill out a form on the Authority’s website, IPN reports.
In the form, the persons will write their name, surname and nationality and will choose the destination from among a number of countries or, if it is not on the list, will indicate it in a separate space. They will also write the telephone number and email address.
Information about the authorized flights is published on the website of the Civil Aviation Authority. There are flights to transport Ukrainian refugees to other destinations and repatriation flights organized by airlines based in counties of destination.
Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Daniel Vodă said that by two humanitarian flights to Istanbul and Frankfurt have been operated so far.
Other flights than those authorized by the Civil Aviation Authority cannot be operated from or to Chisinau during the state of emergency that was decreed until April 24.
