Former Prime Minister Ion Ciubuc will be buried at the Central Cemetery on Armeneasca St in Chisinau on January 31. The coffin will be taken to the Monastery “Great Saint Martyr Teodor Tiron” (Ciuflea) in Chisinau in the evening of January 30, IPN reports.
According to the program of the funeral announced by the executive, a funeral service will be held at the Monastery at 8:30am on January 31. Those who want to say goodbye to the ex-Premier can go to the Palace of the Republic starting at 10am.
At twelve night, the procession will set off for the Central Cemetery on Armeneasca St, where a funeral gathering will take place.
Ion Ciubuc held the post of Prime Minister in 1997-1999. He died in the morning of January 29 at the age 74.
