The tents of protesters Tudor Panzari, John Onoje and Vladimir Eremenko, pitched in the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau, were taken down under a court decision. The Supreme Court of Justice banned the three persons from staging protests in front of the Government Building, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“I think the ECHR will take a correct decision. I have protested for a year and ten months. How can the place of protest be changed? I will demand that my rights be respected. They came and took my effects. They included things that did not belong to me only, but the legal case concerns me only,” Tudor Panzari said.
John Onoje and Vladimir Eremenko also said they will continue to protest.
The NGO Hyde Park decided to put up tents near the place where the three persons protested. Oleg Brega, a founding member of Hyde Park, said they will protest and will pitch tents near the Triumphal Arch on April 27, when a festivity dedicated to the National Flag Day is to take place in the central square of Chisinau.
Tudor Panzari, John Onoje, and Vladimir Eremenko demand that the authorities provide them with dwellings.
