PSD proposes creating People’s Front for Defending Constitution

The Social-Democratic Party (PSD), in the protest set to take place on November 26, will suggest creating the People’s Front for Defending the Constitution, which would include ordinary people and organizations that are ale to fight for establishing the people’s power in Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the party. “We will add political demands to the social and economic demands put forward on November 12 and 19. We demand that the legislative body comes together for an extraordinary sitting to satisfy the protesters’ demand to dismiss the Government,” said the party’s leader Victor Shelin. The PSD calls on the PCRM to assume responsibility for the Government’s dismissal and to form a new Cabinet, taking into account the protesters’ wishes. The Social-Democratic Party started to mount protests on November 12. Sympathizers of the party and ordinary people have protested in front of the Government Building for two Saturdays in a row.
