Public sector employees given 5-day vacation around Independence Day

Public sector employees will have 5 days free from work at the end of August. Besides Independence Day on August 27, holidays will include August 29 and 30, and instead public sector employees will have to go to work two Saturdays – on August 20 and September 10, under a Government decision adopted today, Info-Prim Neo reports. The vacation will start on Indepencence Day and will last until August 31, when Moldova celebrates the Our Language Holiday.
