Rain causes damage of tens of thousand lei in Rezina district

The May 9 heavy rain caused damage estimated at tens of thousand lei in Solonceni village of Rezina district. Dorina Cruc, spokeswoman for the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the rain destroyed 1.5 km of local road, about 40 meters of fence and affected crops on 120 hectares. Three houses were flooded. The local authorities so far assessed only the damage caused to the constructions, which is 89,000 lei. The damage to crops is yet to be determined.
