The monetary value of the norms for maintaining persons lodged at social institutions were raised by 28.7%. The Cabinet took such a decision at the suggestion of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, taking into account the consumer price index for last year, IPN reports.
“Following the indexation of cost norms, the social institutions in the country will be able to further ensure the maintenance of accommodated persons and to offer them the products and goods that they good,” said minister Alexei Buzu.
The cost norms refer to food products, medicines, clothing, footwear, hygiene and sanitary products and other goods used in social institutions of all types and levels.
The increased rations will take effect on March 1, 2023.
