The investigations into the April 7 events revealed new details. The Prosecutor General's Office (PG) on February 9 opened a new legal case against the Special Police Brigade “Fulger” whose officers on the night of April 8 used not only blank cartridges, but also real bullets. The announcement was made by Prosecutor General Valeriu Zubko, Info-Prim Neo reports. Officers of “Fulger” brigade are accused of murder attempt. On the night of April 8, they shot at a car in which there were the husband and wife, at the intersection of Stefan the Great Blvd. and Serghei Lazo. “The police officers were disguised,” the Prosecutor General said. “Even if the persons who opened fire will not be identified, the Prosecutor General's Office has reasons to analyze the steps taken by the senior officers,” Zubko said. The prosecutor did not give more details so as not to affect the investigations. Valeriu Zubko also said that new facts came out and many of the examinations will be repeated.
