Recean publishes picture showing him with diploma of master

Minister of the Interior Dorin Recean posted on a social networking site a picture showing him alongside his mates of the 2000 class of the Newport University, the branch in Belgium, where he studied for his master’s degree in 1998 – 2000, according to his CV. The move follows the accusations made by politician Sergiu Mocanu, who said that Recean has a false diploma of master and is blackmailed because of this, Info-Prim Neo reports. The picture is accompanied by a comment, which says nothing about the accusations made against him. “I wish a good and prosperous year to all my mates of the 2000 class and to the others! We all have a lot of work to do and to learn so that our country becomes a success of the change,” the minister says in the message accompanying the photo. In a news conference on January 9, Sergiu Mocanu said that Dorin Recean bought the diploma of master and is blackmailed by First Deputy Speaker Vlad Plahotniuc because of this.
