The citizens of Moldova who were repatriated with the status of migrant in difficulty will benefit from social assistance and psychological counseling within an emergency reception service at the Chisinau-based National Asylum for Invalids and Pensioners. The migrants will be lodged here for a period of up to half a year, IPN reports, quoting a communique of the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family.
The reception service is a pilot one and is managed by the Ministry. Its goal is to offer the migrants social protection and specialized support for overcoming their difficulties and for ensuring their social inclusion. The reception center can accommodate simultaneously ten persons who turned 18.
The beneficiaries of the reception center will be Moldovan citizens in crisis situations who need to become integrated into society or the family. Besides social assistance, these will benefit from temporary housing, food, health services, hygienic-sanitary assistance, legal assistance, psychological counseling, recreation and assistance in legalizing the beneficiary’s documents.
The reception service was created with the financial support of the Czech Development Agency.
