Recipients can collect allowances for temporary incapacity for work

The National House of Social Insurance (CNAS) announced that 52,700 beneficiaries can collect the allowances for temporary incapacity for work for the previous months. The CNAS transferred 66 million lei for the purpose, IPN reports.

The temporary incapacity allowances are released by such payment service providers as FinComBank, Energbank, EuroCreditBank, Eximbank, Moldova-Agroindbank, Moldindconbank, Victoriabank, Comerțbank, Mobiasbanca, Banca Comercială Română and the state-run Moldova’s Post Office.

In a press release, the Company said the recipients of such allowances can find out to what payment service provider their money was transferred by accessing the electronic service “Status of Medical Leave Certificate” on the institutions’ website.

A sum of 21.1 million lei or 335% of the transfers for these allowances remained unclaimed at post offices last month. The recipients are urged to collect the benefits by March 27 or the unclaimed amounts will be transferred back to the CNAS and will be included in the payments for the next month
