The reconstruction of the famous Granite Stairs in Chisinau’s Valea Morilor Park has been completed. Chisinau City Hall plans to unveil the rehabilitated construction on August 27, when Moldova celebrates Independence Day, IPN reports.
The reconstruction of the granite stairs became possible due to a grant of almost 19 million lei offered by the Local Council of Sector 1, Bucharest municipality, Romania. The Chisinau municipality contributed with 3.5 million lei. The project is carried out by Centru districh head’s office.
The rehabilitation of the granite stairs in the Valea Morilor Park started in May 2018.
