Regulation on stranded air passengers submitted to Government

The Ministry of Transport finalized and submitted to the Government for consideration a set of regulations setting out the entitlements of air passengers in case of flight cancellations or delays or other distressing situations, Info-Prim Neo reports. The document was developed in line with relevant European standards and aims to improve the discipline of national and international airlines in matters related to the rights of air travelers. The document is an instrument to enforce the passengers' right to refund, compensations and other entitlements. The document is to be considered by the Government at one of its next meetings.
