Road accident causes traffic jam on Chisinau viaduct

The vehicles moved with difficulty along the viaduct in Chisinau during about an hour following an accident that involved a car and a truck. Inspector Aurelia Mija has told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened at midday. A Mercedes heading for Centru district tried to pass from one lane to another and collided with a truck. The truck was projected into the curb that separates the opposite direction lanes on the bridge and the Mercedes ran into a side of the truck. There was by one passenger in both of the vehicles. They and the drivers were unhurt. The traffic police are to establish who is to blame for the accident. According to eyewitnesses, both of the units of transport were speeding.
