The National Army of the Republic of Moldova during January 19-20 will receive protective medical equipment from the Ministry of National Defense of Romania. The goods are donated to help prevent and fight infection with COVID-19, IPN reports.
The donation to the value of over 7 million Romanian lei (equal to 30m Moldovan lei), consists of visors, gloves, protective glasses and surgical masks.
The military vehicles that will convey the medical goods will travel along the Leuseni-Chisinau highway. The Ministry of Defense urges the citizens to refrain from distributing images of the military vehicles on the Internet so as not to generate disinformation.
