Premier Vlad Filat reminded Romanian PM Victor Ponta his request on letting Moldovans with a Schengen visa travel to Romania without needing a national visa. During his visit to Moldova, Victor Ponta told Vlad Filat that this possibility is under analysis and a solution is sought for, reports Info-Prim Neo.
“We know how Bulgaria, Cyprus and Slovenia acted; we have a paperwork suite at hand, and are looking for a solution”, stated Victor Ponta.
The two countries’ Premiers discussed at today’s meeting about building two bridges over the Prut River, which would connect Moldova’s national road network to the European one.
“The more bridges over the Prut, the better, but we have to choose the most important ones first. The one to be built near Zagarancea, Ungheni district, will shorten the road to Iasi and connect to the European road network”, specified Vlad Filat. Victor Ponta, in turn, asked those responsible of these projects to hurry their implementation.
Other subjects discussed by the two officials dealt with environmental protection, education, judicial system, internal affairs, especially the border police, which has to ensure integrated management at the State frontier.
