Romanian emergency rescue service to offer helicopter services to Moldova

The Romanian emergency rescue service SMURD will offer the services of a helicopter to Moldova whenever there is a need to rush victims of emergency situations to hospital, Info-Prim Neo reports. Health Minister Andrei Usatii told a news conference on Tuesday that the helicopter will be stationed in Iasi, near the border with Moldova, and will also service Romania's eastern counties. According to the Minister, Romania could also offer the services of six extrication teams to intervene in serious vehicle accidents.
