An education institution in Taraclia district remains closed because of the elements that led to the suspension of school transport routes. The Ministry of Education said this is the Theoretical Lyceum in Ciumai, which is attended by 235 students, IPN reports.
Owing to the snowy roads and ice, the students couldn’t be transported to school by ten routes in four districts, namely Taraclia, Cantemir, Ungheni, and Straseni. A number of 612 students weren’t transported to district schools overall.
The lyceum in Taraclia was closed on February 8. The local kindergarten also didn’t work yesterday.
