Scientists are encouraged to apply for the Academy of Sciences Awards

Scientists are encouraged to apply for the Scientist of 2010 and Young Scientist of 2010 Awards, as part of the National Contest for supporting science and innovation in Moldova. The contest is organized by the Moldovan Academy of Sciences (ASM), Info-Prim Neo reports. The ASM will choose researchers whose work has positively influenced the development of national science and economy or that offer solutions to society’s current necessities. Besides, the ASM Award for young scientists’ achievements has been created in three sections: Nature and Life Sciences, Exact and Economic Sciences and Humanities. The bids should be submitted until December 1 to the ASM.
