Scorpions might not come to Chisinau on City's Day

Scorpions concert scheduled in Athens at the Peace and Friendship Stadium has been postponed. According to the website greekreporter.com, Klaus Meine, the band's frontman was diagnosed with acute laryngitis and his doctors suggested he does not sing for a week. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, Corneliu Durnescu, one of the producers of the concert in Chisinau, said the concerts in Bulgaria and Moldova could be postponed. The doctors are to give their verdict. The greekreporter.com website says the tickets will be honored for the new date which is going to be announced in a couple of days. The band released a video in which they thanked their audience for their understanding and promised to perform the show as soon as possible. The concert in Chisinau is to take place at the Zimbru Stadium on October 14. The tickets cost between 160 and 500 lei and have been on sale since the end of September.
