Shooting of the movie “2 438 km or all roads go to Rome”, directed by Sergiu Prodan, will begin at the end of July, while the post-production works are projected to be finished towards the yearend. The filming was to take place earlier. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, Sergiu Prodan said the terms were changed owing to the floods and then to the elections. “We are in the process of preparing the shooting that will take place this summer and autumn. We gathered sufficient money to start filming the movie and to complete the works. We have a budget deficit yet for post-production,” he stated. According to the director, they need about €100,000 more to finish the project. The movie must be ready this December. The total budget is €500,000. Half of the sum represents contributions from outside, while the other half was collected by the production crew. The movie is about three female teachers from a village who head for Italy to look for work, hidden in improvised coffins.
