Seventh ambulance involved in road accident in Chisinau

An ambulance that was taking a woman to the hospital was involved in a traffic accident on Vasile Lupu St in Chisinau. This is the seventh case of the kind reported this year. Evelina Rusu, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambiance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the ambulance with the siren and flasher on was transporting a 23-year-old woman from Durlesti town to the Emergency Hospital. On Vasile Lupu St, it crashed into the back of a Ford-Transporter minibus that stopped suddenly. As a result of the impact, the patient suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma, a concussion and bruises of the brain tissue. The doctor's assistant aged 24 and the doctor aged 35 sustained concussions. The two have not been hospitalized. Seven ambulances have been involved in road accidents in Chisinau since the start of this year. Most of them traveled with the siren and flasher on.
