Several events dedicated to Romania’s National Day will be held in Cahul

Romania’s General Consulate in Cahul will hold a series of cultural events dedicated to Romania’s National Day on December 1, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a press release of the Consulate, the exhibition “Basarabia 1812-1947. People, places, frontiers” will be inaugurated on November 30, 10 AM, in the Festive Aula of the “B. P. Hasdeu” University in Cahul, in partnership with the Romanian Cultural Institute “Mihai Eminescu” in Chisinau. Between 11 AM and 12.30 AM, in the same place, the seminar “150 years of modern diplomacy” will be organized to mark a century and a half since the institutionalization of Romanian diplomacy. The day will end with a festivity that will gather officials from Romania and Moldova. The festivity will include a performance by Nicolae Voiculet and the Folk Ensemble “Doina Covurluilui” from Galati.
