Sheriff Tiraspol won away at Suruceni, beating the premiership debutants St. Gheorghe 5-2, in a postponed fixture of National Division's Round 15 on Sunday, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Sheriff's Alexei Kuciuk and Andre Diedhiou offered doubles. Notable was also the hosts' first goal scored by the former Zimbru striker, Iurie Livandovschi. This result brought Sheriff closer to leaders Iskra-Stal.
Having a busy schedule and 13 fixtures to be played until the end of the season, Sheriff will close their season no earlier than on December 17.
The next round of the premiership will be held next Sunday, October 18.
