Sheriff share 100th spot with Rosenborg in World Club Ranking

Moldova's champions FC Sheriff Tiraspol are the best placed club among the three Moldovan teams listed in the updated World Club Ranking, sharing the 100th spot with Norway's most successful club, Rosenborg Ballklub, Info-Prim Neo reports. The ranking, published on Thursday by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics, shows the Tiraspol-based club ahead of many famous European clubs, like Manchester City, Steaua Bucharest, Glasgow Rangers, Sampdoria or Schalke. This was possible due to Sheriff's successful performance at home and fair results in European cups in the last two years. Other two Moldovan clubs, Dacia and Olimpia, stand on the 268th and the 335th spots, respectively. Current Europe's champions Inter Milano are placed first, followed by Barcelona and Bayern.
