Sheriff Tiraspol strengthened their position at the top of the table in the national football championship. On Sunday, November 18, the Black’n’Yellows bested Rapid Ghidighici 2-0 on matchday 17 of the National Division, Info-Prim Neo reports.
After Dacia Chisinau’s scoreless draw with FC Tiraspol, Sheriff are now 8 points clear at the top.
FC Tiraspol hold on to third place, despite stiff competition for this spot from Milsami Orhei, Academia Chisinau, Olimpia Balti and Zimbru Chisinau.
