Singers to sing gratis for people of culture

A number of national singers will sing free of charge at a charity concert that will take place at the Cultural Center “Ginta Latina” in Chisinau on May 16. The proceeds will be donated to people of culture who are in a difficult financial situation, Info-Prim Neo reports. The concert titled “Let’s be near those who are sadder” is organized by the Buiucani district head’s office in concert with “Ginta Latina”. It will involve the folk dances group “Hora Horita”, Anisoara Puica, Vitalie Dani, Anatol Myrzenko, Doina Arsene, Arseni Botnaru, Ion Paladi, and other singers. Buiucani district head Valeriu Nimerenko said there will be available about 400 tickets for 100 lei apiece. The collected money will be given to persons of culture living in Buiucani district, including members of the Writers Union, the Journalists Union and the Theater Union. Before the Easter holidays, the Buiucani district head’s office distributed food parcels and by 1,000 lei to people of culture. The food was bought with money provided by companies working in the district.
