The traffic police Wednesday shared fines of 500 to 600 lei and four penalty points to the Chisinau drivers who did not give way to a special firefighting vehicle.
Uliana Catan, of the Chisinau Traffic Police Department's press service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the vehicle traveled along the Viaduct and Dacia Blvd. and back at rush hour with the siren and flasher on.
Most of the drivers gave way, going along the right side of the road. The traffic police drew up reports against 14 drivers who broke the traffic rules.
An ambulance with the siren and flasher on will travel along congested streets in Chisinau accompanied by cars of the Traffic Police on March 4, starting at 12 noon.
