The Security and Intelligence Service (SIS) organized searches at a gambling hall in China municipality. According to the SIS, a group specialized in the organization of poker games worked there illegally and avoided paying taxes into the state budget, IPN reports.

During the operation, the SIS officers and prosecutors found about 60 clients in the hall. These included public functionaries. There were seized 11 poker tables, playing cards, a large sum of money that represented earnings, equipment and servers used in the illegal activity, including banned objects and substances.

It was established that the group worked under the screen of a non-profit public organization, while its members didn’t have a license for running a gambling business and managed to accumulate considerable returns.

The investigation goes on.
