Six mayor’s offices of Sangerei district, which manage 18 villages, will found an intercommunity company to repair local roads, collect waste and maintain the water supply and sewerage systems. The project is supported by the Joint Integrated Local Development Program that provided a grant of €100,000.
Contacted by IPN, mayor of Chiscareni village Silvia Turcanu said the intercommunity company will be created by winter. The equipment it will possess will be used by the villages in rotation, while the money charged for the provided services will form the budget from which the employees will receive salaries.
The grant offered by the Joint Integrated Local Development Program will be used to purchase a multifunctional piece of machinery of €80,000 and to set up landfills.
