Six of the 19 persons who were wounded in a traffic accident in Ștefan Vodă district last night are still in the hospital in Ștefan Vodă town. Among these is the four-year-old child who lost both of his parents in the accident. His state continues to be serious. Prime Minister Pavel Filip on August 22 paid a visit to the hospital in Ștefan Vodă, IPN reports.
According to the Government’s press service, the director of the hospital said they have all the necessary medicines, equipment and consumables for treating the injured.
Of the six hospitalized patients, the child who lost his parents in the accident remains in a serous state. The Premier instructed the minister of health, labor and social protection to provide all the necessary assistance to this and to continue to monitor the state of the patients.
Three persons died and 19 suffered injuries when a bus running on the Chisinau-Zatoca road was struck from behind by a tractor and then collided frontally with a car coming from the opposite direction last night. An investigation is under way.
