Six settlements remain without power

Six settlements in two districts of the country experienced power outages following the unfavorable weather conditions and strong winds.
Liliana Puscasu, press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that four settlements in the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia and two settlements in Basarabeasca district remained without electric power on February 7. Four intervention teams are working on the spot to fix the problem.
Two kindergartens in Comrat town and Congaz village in Gagauzia were disconnected from the power supply and, as a result, remained without heat. There were used generators and the kindergartens are now heated.
