Sagaidac village (Cimișlia) will hold a snap mayoral election on May 19, as decided on Tuesday by the Central Electoral Commission.
The post fell vacant after the mayor elected in the general local elections last November resigned.
Also on May 19, snap elections will be held for the village councils in Cairaclia (Taraclia) and Chioselia Rusă (Gagauzia), and also for the mayors of Tîrnova commune (Dondușeni) and of Bucovăț town (Strășeni).
On the same day, there will be partial elections for mayor in the localities of Chioselia Rusă and Kotovskoe in UTA Găgăuzia, as well as partial elections for a new composition of the local council of Cealîc commune in Taraclia district.
