The Central Electoral Commission has set a snap mayoral election to take place in Păulești village, Călărași district, on May 15.
The mayor’s seat in the village has fallen vacant due to the incumbent suffering from prolonged illness.
Earlier, the CEC scheduled snap mayoral elections for May 15 in six other villages: Ghetlova/Orhei, Horodiște/Rezina, Zastânca/Soroca, Moara de Piatră/Drochia, Tătărești/Strășeni and Glinjeni/Fălești.
