The Party of Socialists will stage demonstrations and marches in support of the initiatives of President Igor Dodon and calls on the active citizens to join in. The protests were scheduled for September 24, IPN reports.
In a working meeting of the party’s administration, it was decided that the demonstrations and marches in support of the President’s initiatives will take place in three towns: Balti (Vasile Alecsandri Square); Anenii Noi (square before the District Council’s head office) and Cahul (Independence Square).
The participants will promote the initiatives that were to be put up for a national referendum, namely the annulment of the law that makes the people repay the funds embezzled from three banks, enlargement of the President’s powers, reduction in the number of MPs and introduction of the History of Moldova course in schools.
