A group of MPs and Chisinau councilors of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) on October 8 brought a piece of a fence that they said they took away from a building site located on Moscovei Blvd in Chisinau. According to the Socialists, the construction works on that building site are performed illegally and they demand that all the illegal constructions in the capital city should be stopped, IPN reports.
MP Vasile Bolea told the press that two buildings are being constructed on Moscovei Blvd. A part of the territory of a nursery school located nearby was appropriated. At the request of the PSRM, the local authorities ordered stopping the works on that building site. But these continue yet. “As a preventive measure, we brought a piece of a fence from that site to our mayor who issues construction authorizations in breach of the law,” he said.
The Socialists reiterated the request to impose a moratorium on all the constructions in Chisinau. These also said that they could weekly or even daily bring by a piece of fence from illegal construction sites to the City Hall.
